The Holy Quran is the ultimate and perfect guide for one's life and this translation has explained them clearly and comprehensively in a way I have never known before. I am an American who, of course, does not read or speak Arabic, so I am at a disadvantage to know the original beauty of the Quran. However, the new translators of Nooruddin's version have completed a masterful job of conveying the true heart of the Quran in English to my eyes and ears.

This particular translation has certainly opened my spiritual eyes, helping me to understand some of the more difficult surahs in the Quran. Parentheticals form a significant part of this translation. Words within parentheses are either explanations or alternative meaning. Many of the words within parentheses may be used without any parentheses at all, for they are really well-placed within the verses, serving as annotation and factual clarity. May Allah kindly accept this effort of Nooruddin's translators, who has taken great care for accuracy and meaning here.

I strongly recommend this text to all who are Muslims or not, whether they can read Arabic or not, and whether they believe in Allah or not; I sincerely hope they get this translation and find out the TRUE peaceful religion of Islam, which is so very well explained by the introduction included in this Quran. Islam is the final testament of God and upon reading the committing the Quran to heart, one's eyes are opened and begins to easily see so many of the truths that God speaks of through his most perfect Messenger, Muhammad (peace be upon him).

One last note: this volume is the best bound and most attractive book I own. Its publisher has kept costs down in order to distribute more copies. I was pleasantly surprised at its overall quality
